Extended Absence

It has been just over three years since I posted on my blog.  I have been extremely busy with teaching culinary and Fashion & Design in a public high school.  Instead of teaching 3 out of 4 classes and then having a prep period, I have been teaching 4 classes. Every Day.  My classes are in such high demand. And I'm on my feet all day.
And then having to do distance teaching since March 13 has been a huge learning curve for me

But now I am trying to carve out more time to communicate. I plan to get back to posting progress pictures on various costumes and garments I am sewing.

One of the assignments I gave my  Fashion students this spring was a PowerPoint on how to create a mask. I gave them instructions on how to design out the shape and then how to cut and sew it together.

And on the last day of official school, my personal sewing machine died!
